The pains in my heart

I will like to share my personal experience as look deep into this very caption.  I will never forget in a hurry my early years as a boy of less than five years old. The day was bright and fair, my immediate elder brother and I went out as usual to enjoy ourselves playing the street football with other agemates around. It was so fun when we have such opportunity to play around.

The fateful evening my siblings and I were watching television. They were enjoying the television show but I was battling within myself.  I was seriously experiencing this heart pain I didn’t know how to explain it to my siblings. It was not long when dinner was served.  My immediate elder brother and my younger sister quickly went to do justice to it while I sat back at the parlour.

My mother worried

My mother served the meal and walked away.  After a while she walked in again only to find out that my siblings were enjoying their meal while I was on the seat facing the television. My mother was amazed that I ignored food. She quickly asked,

“Abuchi are you not eating?”

“My heart is paining me,” I replied, in a low tone.

“What did you mean you heart is paining you?” She asked with this surprised look walking up to me. She touched me to detect the temperature.

She walked back into her bed room, not quite long she walked back and asked me to stand and get ready we are going to the hospital. I quietly stood, walked in and dressed up properly. We then left for the hospital.

Of course, we met the doctor. He conducted some check on me. He made some prescription of drug my mother has to purchase and administer to me. Of course she quickly walked to a nearby pharmacy to purchase those drugs. When we got home that evening, I was forced to eat so that I will be able to take the drug. I was given some piles of drugs which I took and went to bed after a while.

In the morning when  I woke up, I walked to the parlour and sat at the same spot when my mother walked in from her room,

“Good morning mama,” I greeted.

“Good morning,” she replied, and then asked, “How are you feeling now?”

“I am ok only that my heart is paining me.”

“Come and get set we will be going to the hospital.”

Hospital never a place to stay

Of course I dislike going to the hospital and the reason is obvious to avoid any means to receive injections. But in the state I found myself, I knew I need helped.  I need the pain in my heart to leave but I don’t really know how. Since going to the hospital to see a doctor is the only option I have to yield to that.

When we arrived at the hospital, the doctor conducted some tests on me and we sat at the reception waiting for the results. By the time the doctor came and began to talk with my mother, I was seated and just wanted this heart pain to disappear. The doctor disclosed to my mother that he can’t handle the situation and decided to refer us to another hospital. I believe that was when my mother knew it was a serious matter at hand.

The doctor’s report discouraged

We arrived at this very hospital which referred to us, the previous result from the previous doctor was handed over to the doctor, after having looked at it then instructed that we will carry out another test. Of course, my mother did not hesitate about another test been conducted because everyone was eager to find out what went wrong that resulted in the heart pain. The result was out and the doctor looked through and began to refer us to another hospital.

We arrived another hospital, after the whole results of the previous hospital was handed over to the doctor, he went through them and then instructed for a scan. When I looked at the machine I was to passed through for the scan, in my mind I thought it is over for me and I began to cry. I was comforted that nothing will happen to me that I will be fine. I lay down as I was being pushed to enter the scan machine. Thanks to God I came out alive. When the results was out, nothing specific was discovered. We were then referred to another hospital.

This was happening at Douala Cameroun, we were referred to many hospitals and none could provide the right course for the heart pain. We finally arrived at this hospital, when the doctor had a look at the previous results, he choose to refer us to another hospital. As he mentioned one hospital to another, my mother will tell him we have gone there. It was on that note he decided to admit me and commenced treatment.

The situation became tough

I was given a bed at the intensive ward. Of course my case was a delicate matter. I remembered the woman by my right hand side was also in serious condition of life and death. Her whole body was full of wounds except her face. I remember my mother asking her what happened to her, she explained that she was in side the house with her when fire start burning. Fire was burning but it was not burning the whole house except the exits, the doors and the windows. She managed to carry her daughter to escaped when the fire caught them. I remember my mother asking her about her daughter. She explained that her daughter could not make it. I felt her shocked my mother was hearing the scenario behind the patient predicament.

The young lady by my left hand side was laying lifeless as long as I can remember. I never heard her made a comment. Drip lines was connected all over her body including her nose and private part. What a horrible condition humanity are in.

When faith is deployed

My mother being a Christian knew there is need to deploy the supernatural into the scene. The doctor’s report has a way of discouraging. My mother will leave me at the hospital and went to fellowship. While the physical treatment was going on, my mother was strongly believing and trusting God for a move.

I can’t forget that fateful day when my mother went to church in the morning to settle things with God. I was laying on the bed waiting for the next drip to be fixed when my mother walked in during the day to asked me,

“Have you seen the doctor?”

I was about to respond when the doctor walked in.

“Doctor if there is any paper to sign, get it let me sign I want to take my son out of this place,” she said, boldly.

“Ma your son is not fine yet,” the doctor, replied.

“My son is fine. I want to take him out of here,” she said.

“You don’t teach me my profession ma. Your son is not feeling yet,” doctor said.

“Even if my son will die, he will not die in your hospital,” she confessed.

It was at that moment the doctor knew that my mother have stood her ground to take me out of his clinic. While they were having those conversations, my mother released those words of faith and each of them were impacting me while laying on the bed. The doctor quickly invited her to his office and they walked away. It was not long, she walked back and asked me to stand.

“Abuchi stand we are leaving this hospital now.” She said, as she is packing up things.

The miracle of faith work

An usual strength came on me and I did need anyone to assist me to sit up. I stood on my feet, she gave me a large file and a bag to carry. That was how we left the clinic and that was over. I never received any treatment ever since then about any heart pain. I knew the supernatural stepped in.

1 – “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 – My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3 – He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 – Indeed, he who watches over Israel never tires and never sleeps.

5 – The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 – The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 – The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8 – The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” (Psalms chapter 121 verses 1 to 8)

Conclusion:

There is need to be acquinted with the knowledge of the precious faith that works when you deploy it to work, it yields greatly.
