The living faith
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews chapter 11 verses 6)
The only way one can get to know God is by faith
I have read through the bible to know and understand the subject of Faith and its origin for humanity and the fulfillment of destiny. The scripture above Hebrews chapter eleven verses six caught my attention about the subject of Faith and its significant effect in obtaining the knowledge of God, getting to know this God, developing a relationship with God, having a walk with God, discovering of one’s purpose and the fulfillment of one’s purpose.
It is obvious by the word of God that it is impossible to please God without faith. Wow, does that stir up something in you. The only way one can get to know God is by faith. Obtaining salvation is by faith. We saw God minister to us that “He is the Lord God Almighty, the maker and earth. I am the one that fashioned you, designed you and created you here on earth so that you can live to reveal my glory to the dieing world.”
They did not embrace the gospel on the basis of that their eyes were opened to see God spread His hands towards them for an embrace
We never heard God say such to us but we have heard men and women speak to us in such manner as though they encountered God face to face and He had this conversation with them. No, the same way they preach to us to receive the amazing love of God was the same way they once heard the gospel and they chose to embrace it. They did not embrace the gospel on the basis of that their eyes were opened to see God spread His hands towards them for an embrace.
Not really but they were able to see the manifestation of God through fellow men and women who have embraced God, developed a walk with Him, and now God living through them to reveal Himself to humanity. How did they got this point? That is Faith. The faith that was made available to humanity through the death and the resurrection of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. We will look at that deeply as we proceed.
On this note, one does not need to see God but looking at the act of God, one can be filled with the conviction that God is well able.
The next statement in Hebrews chapter eleven verses six said, “for he that cometh to God must believe that He is,” How can someone believe? That is by Faith. You can see the previous statement says that for without faith it is impossible to please God. And the later statement now made it clear that if one must tap into the Faith to please God, he or she must come believing.
There is an aspect of us that is so vital to enable us step into our place in God, and that is we must believe in what God is doing in the present time, having a clear revision of what He has done in time past with a concrete believe there is a future in God. On this note, one does not need to see God but looking at the act of God, one can be filled with the conviction that God is well able.
You must have faith in God if God can effectively flow through you to reveal His glory to the dieing world
Let’s quickly have a close look on this very scripture once again. It says that for without faith it is impossible to please God. This is an announcement to anyone who desires a walk with God and for God to flow through him or her. One thing is obvious here that one must develop an attitude of faith. How will that be possible? He or she must come believing. Until we strengthen our belief on Him, He might not fully flow through us in a large extend. No one can yield completely to what he or she does not believe in.
One’s belief is vital in developing a faith life. You must believe in God if you will develop faith in God. You must have faith in God if God can effectively flow through you to reveal His glory to the dieing world. We must come to the fulness of our belief that God is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him. That simply means that there is a safe guarantee to whatever decision one is taking to develop his or her faith in God.
God is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him
It is also revealed that God will surely reward anyone who genuinely and diligently paid the price to develop his or her faith in God. God is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. This has nothing to do with half seeking of God. Those who desire to have a walk with God, yet they walk to have their own life style in place which pleases and satisfy their flesh but it is contrary to God’s word.
No one can live Godkind of Faith which is the living faith by living his or her own life style. The person can only develop the human kind of faith which has limitations. To develop the faith to do the impossible, that is God kind of faith through accepting the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross.
Conclusion:
Since it is impossible to please God without faith, that means any thing done out of faith is sin. Anything that does not please God, does not please Him. We get to see the plan of faith as God’s plan to humanity and as a principle, when we diligently abide in it, it will yield greatly.
