5 kinds of work God rewards
7 – “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 – I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” (Revelation chapter 3 verses 7 to 8)
- Public identification with God:
There is a record for public representing God. Our responsibility is imparting our generation.
4 – “Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
5 – Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
6 – Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.” (Daniel chapter 6 verses 4 to 6)
Your devotion with God is private, but your representation with God is public.
“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Mark chapter 8 verses 38)
There is a record of those who speak when it is needed to speak. There is a record of those who keep quiet when they suppose to speak. Those who take a stand with God don’t fall out in life.
- Words spoken among brethren:
“Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.” (Malachi chapter 3 verses 16)
“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” (Mathew chapter 12 verses 36)
There is a record of what you say about God among God’s people. It is important for one to be mindful of what he or she says among God’s people especially when he or she is a figure to be looked upon.
- Act of kindness towards the needy:
There is a record with God about what we do about the helpless.
“I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.” (Revelation chapter 2 verses 19)
34 – “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 – For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 – Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.” (Mathew chapter 25 verses 34 to 36)
“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” (James chapter 1 verses 27)
17 – “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
18 – That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 – Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.” (1Timothy chapter 6 verses 17 to 19)
“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.” (Proverbs chapter 19 verses 17)
The question here is that how many people feed from your table? How many people are you wiping their tears?
Let people be happy that they came in contact with you. Let your present make meaning in the life of the people so that your absent will be noticed.
- Offering and sacrifices towards the kingdom.
1 – “The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 – Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 – Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.” (Psalms chapter 20 verses 1 to 3)
You need a memorial altar in heaven that speaks for you.
- Kingdom labour, effort and impart.
1 – “Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 – I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3 – And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
4 – Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 – Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation chapter 2 verses 1 to 5)
God is recording our tolerance in the kingdom, endurance and patience for the sake of the kingdom, and love and passion for God.
