You can’t think of friendship when you are not ready for it. Friendship is a serious matter as someone pursuing destiny. It is never something anyone should take lightly. If you don’t want to get burnt, keep away from the fire. Dating is not as common as some persons take it to be. It is one issue one should deliberately look within himself to know if he is ready for such.
Dating simply means friendship. But in the case, it is on the path to create a union. Anyone who has grown up will never allow anyone to push him into what he is not ready for. You must be ready for dating before you step into it. If you hurrying into dating, that is the same way you will hurry out of it. You must prepare and make up your mind that you are ready for this. Except you are not ready to settle down, you will not experience of your relationship. Maybe you are the kind who is still interested in free food and free everything. You better be careful before free thing will catch up on you.

You don’t need a prophet to tell you this is the time to go into marriage. Yes, there are times your prophet can mandate some certain things in your life to be able to push you into the right track to fulfill destiny. In all the advice about settling down, you are the only one who can search through your heart to tell yourself whether you are ready or not. It will be foolishness if you cannot tell yourself the truth.
If you know you are not yet ready, do not step into it. It will disastrous to push yourself into dating that you are not sure of. You are sure of where it will take you. The vision of the whole process is not clear. When purpose is not defined, abuse is inevitable. Many relationships have faced the worst of its moment because both parties never can define such relationship. They were confused when both them of met and decided to go through a relationship. You can imagine the outcome of two confused people when they decided to be in a relationship. The bible refers to them as two blind trying to lead each other.
“Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” (Mathew chapter 15 verses 14)
There are things every man must know before going into dating. You have no business dating her until you have full knowledge of these three things and being a living witness of them.

- You must have a work.
17 – “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 – And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” (Genesis chapter 17 verses 18)
You must do something worth doing to provide your basic needs before thinking about bringing the second party. The thought of second party is never relevant until he has found his place on work or job. You must be working. Adam was never idle when God said he needs a helpmate. A man who has no work should remain alone till he gets something doing for himself first.
- You must have a house of your own.
It is not as if you must build your own house before dating, but you must have a place of your own where you lay your head. Before you think of dating, make sure you are no longer under the roof of your parents or guidance. You need a place to call your own before you start thinking of accommodating someone else. One of the proof that he is not yet ready for dating is when he is still under his parents roof.
- You must develop character.
One of the ways to know you are ready for marriage is maturity. If one is not mature for marriage, marriage will prove him. You must be matured both spiritually and physically.
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” (Mathew chapter 5 verses 48)
Marriage has what it takes to test everyone’s maturity. One spiritual maturity deals with his relationship with God. Physical maturity, he need to have a work, a house and character.
Conclusion
Before thinking of relationship, think first things first. There are things to put in place before going into relationship. If you fail in doing the necessary things now, it will cost more trying to rectify them. Think about it.
