5 WAYS TO ACTIVATE THE SPIRIT
- By studying and meditate on the word of God.
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John chapter 6 verses 63)
The word of God has power and life in it.
“But we are able to see Jesus, Who was ranked lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because of His having suffered death, in order that by the grace (unmerited favor) of God [to us sinners] He might experience death for every individual person.” (Hebrews chapter 2 verses 9 AMP)
- Listening to the right music:
What enters an individual’s has the capacity to define the person. Be mindful of the music you listen to.
“He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.” (1Corinthians chapter 14 verses 4)
- Honour:
The grace of every commission is in the message and the message.
“If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?” (1Corianthians chapter 9 verses 11)
There are prophetic declarations over individual’s life that cannot rest until honour is observed.
7 – Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 – And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” (2Corianthians chapter 9 verses 7 to 8)
- Prayer:
“And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” (Mark chapter 1 verses 35)
Prayer activates the ministry of angel.
1 – “Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
2 – And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
3 – And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
4 – And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
5 – Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
6 – And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
7 – And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
8 – And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
9 – And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.” (Acts chapter 12 verses 1 to 9)
- Observing your devotion life:
29 – “He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 – Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah chapter 40 verses 29 to 31)
