At the end of each year when the stock of the whole business is taken, both he and his workers feel so excited about the profit. Any way he has these three servants who have been actively into the business over the years, helping him to grow the business. He took his time training and nurturing them to the point of maturity where they are well acquitted with the business.
One day he resolved to make his servants fell what he feels about having a successful business under their control. He walks to his secretary and said,
“I have decided to make a hand over the business to the three of my servants.”
“Why must you do that sir?” the secretary asked seriously.
“I want them to feel a taste of ownership, having a business under their care.”
“Sir if I may ask, what makes you think they will not disappoint you?”
“I can’t really tell but I have being with them for a while and I know everyone of them can properly manage the particular one under their control,” He said, confidently.
“Is alright sir.”
Man greatest challenge is not that he can’t discover his responsibility; man greatest challenge is going about his responsibility to make it count.
He then decides to hand his business over to his servants whom he loves dearly. Those he can trust, who have acquire some skill in decision making and can perfectly handle his business. That fateful day, he called them and disclosed to them what he was about to do. They were so amazed hearing that their master trusted them so much to hand over his whole businesses to them. He also made them known he is going to put each other under the control of a particular business. Joy grips the heart.
After some moment of eating, drinking and celebrating of the recent development, he starts sharing the business among the three servants according to their respective ability. To the first, he gave five of his businesses to manage; to the second he gave two businesses to manage; and to the third he gave one business to manage according to their several ability.
It was after then he made them know he will be travelling and he is going to spend a long time before returning. He encourages them to diligently and effectively embrace their respective responsibility to that they can make maximum profit at his return.

The one with five is so astonish and as well happy that his master can actually trust him to hand over such huge responsibility under his care. He proposes in his heart, he is going to amaze his master at his return. Likewise the one with two, he proposes in his heart that he is going to trade hard and make tangible profit for his master return. The one with one gets bitter with his master.
Comparing himself with others. He nurtures so many rude thoughts in his heart about his master. He said, “This man self, what is wrong with him. Upon the closeness, how can he give me only one business to manage while he gave someone five? What a humiliation! None of these ones know the business more than I do. After all I have being into this business before they came. How come he did not trust me this much? Well, I think I know what to do, since he did not confide on me and all he could hand over to me is one business out of many. I will not waste my time trading to make profit for a man who does not believe in me.”
