- Service and adding value makes you influential:
“Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” (Philippians chapter 2 verses 2 to 5)
You can’t positively influence someone you have not imparted. People naturally flow towards the direction of their virtues. When you embrace the responsibility to render services and adding value in people, you are simply showing them how much you love and care for them. You don’t have to use your power and position to intimidate people to do what you want. People will naturally want to be with you; they will follow you because they know you always have much in store for them.

Your confidence is not as a result of victory over any person but on total dependence on God and His Word. Above all, the people live to trust you.

I am not doubting the necessity of money; all I am saying is that you need people that will brainstorm and run about to make things happen. You may not have received substantial reward from the people you have imparted but in a time like this, you have the work easy for yourself to know the right people to pick. You don’t need to tear people down so that they can yield to your demand. They will want to work with you because you took your time adding value in them thereby building them up. Jesus was focused on building the disciples. He encouraging, training, and empowering them to continue the work of the ministry. (Mathew chapter 28 verses 18 to 20)

You can’t be serving effectively and be short sighted. Service will help you to picture the bigger picture of your vision. It energies you and keep you on the track to get it accomplish. Whatever your vision is, is not for the moment; is for eternal.
“Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians chapter 3 verses 13 to 14)
You may not be that successful, but you joy is seeing those who come in contact with you becoming successful.
- Boast your confidence for results:
When you see the services and the value you have added in the life of the people reflecting positive in the lives of others and the society, you will be encourage to do more and in that respect going for more results. Your joy should be made manifest when you see those around you become better than they were. What did you expect to get at the end of good service and adding value? I am sure of one, that is good result. Investing in people is the greatest investment. Investing in people’s life will not only make you better, it will announce you and place you at the top of the mountain where everyone will hear of your impart in their lives to make our world a better place.

Good result attracts good reward. It is good to know we will be rewarded for every good work we are able to render. Not as man reward, is about the eternal reward when we will stand before God to give an account on how we went about our responsibilities. I want to be among those the Father will give a warm embrace foe effectively accomplished our responsibilities. “Welldone, good and faithful servant…” (Mathew chapter 25 verses 21)
