5 pride problems to your purpose
- Pride makes you think you are always right about your responsibility.
“Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him.” (Proverb chapter 26 verses 12).
- Pride eludes your mind to new ideas about your responsibility.
“Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.” (Proverb chapter 20 verses 5).
- Pride never allows you to accept mistake accomplishing your responsibility.
“Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” (Proverb chapter 20 verses 6).
- Pride keeps you from going the extra mile about your responsibility.
“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” (Proverb chapter 24 verses 16).
- Pride makes you to quit responsibility.
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.” (Proverb chapter 22 verses 29).
Conclusion:
You have to fight pride with everything that is within you. It is in your power to fight and it is your responsibility to make sure it does not stop you.
