5 characteristics of the servants of Jesus Christ

  1. You will be ready to obey without question or hesitation:

“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.” (Luke chapter 5 verses 5)

Every servant of Jesus Christ should be ready to obey at all even when it is inconvenient. Disciple are made to obey at all cost.

If you are committed to proof your love towards Jesus by obeying His principles, Jesus will give you opportunity to love.

“Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.” (Mathew chapter 5 verses 42)

 

  1. You will be willing to take not and write down the teachings of your Master:

Every servant of Jesus Christ should always be ready to take note of His teachings. That is the only way you will prove your loyalty to him.

“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John chapter 15 verses 7)

 

  1. You have to agree with all the teachings of your Master:

When you believe your master is feeding you with the word of truth, you have to agree with all his teachings. His teachings builds and enhances your inner man into fulfilling destiny.

27 – “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

28 – But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Mathew chapter 5 verses 27 to 28)

 

  1. You have to imitate the actions of the Master:

24 – But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

25 – And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

26 – And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

27 – But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

28 – And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29 – And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” (Mathew chapter 14 verses 24 to 29)

 

  1. You have your job to keep bringing more people to your Master:

Of course, every believer is saved to save others.

“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.” (Luke chapter 9 verses 1)

“After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” (Luke chapter 10 verses 1)

35 – “Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

36 – And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

37 – And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

38 – Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

39 – He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

40 – One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.

41 – He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.” (John chapter 1 verses 35 to 41)
