5 things the death of jesus accomplished
- Deliverance from sin and death work.
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John chapter 5 verses 24)
“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” (Colossians chapter 1 verses 13)
- Deliverance from sickness.
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah chapter 53 verses 5)
- Deliverance from poverty.
“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” (2Corinthians chapter 8 verses 9)
- Deliverance from satan and demons.

- Deliverance from the world.
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1Peter chapter 2 verses 9)
