Breathe on me oh God
This is the cry of so many people but they have not checked on the cost of what they desire desire. Everything one desires in the kingdom after salvation comes with a cost. Never you think because salvation is free every other things are free. The kingdom does not operate in such manner. The kingdom runs and it is driven on principles. Once there is principles, that calls for a price.
28 -“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:”
29 – And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.” (Joel chapter 2 verses 28 to 29)
Everything one desires in the kingdom after salvation comes with a cost.
God is never a waster, He will definitely work on the vessels to He breathed on. The breath of God in a vessel should quicken the vessel for what God has proposed in His heart to do. God breath on me, is for the ready soul. We do make the prayer of Joel chapter 2 verses 28, and I do see the zealousness of the people making this prayer upon their lives, yet it is beyond just asking. There are prizes to these. Nothing in the kingdom goes for nothing. You must meet the standard if God must breath on you.
You will definitely find out that the scripture mentioned above came with some conditions. God will want to work on the vessel before working through the same vessel. Every vessel that desire the move of God through him or her must come to the standard of God’s vessel, then God can release Himself on such vessel.
God is never a waster, He will definitely work on the vessels to He breathed on
6 – “But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 – And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis chapter 2 verses 6 to 7)
God will first of all take anyone who desires a fresh breath of God to the manufacturing room. Yes, God is the builder of His house. Once you present yourself for the master’s use, He will take you into the theatre where you will undergo some spiritual surgery. It is in undergoing the spiritual surgery and succeed then you will be qualified to be able to carry the breath of God. God breathing in an unprepared vessel will destroy such vessel. There is no two ways to carrying the glory of God. The standard of God’s remains sure.
16 – No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
17 – Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.” (Mathew chapter 9 verses 16 to 17)
23 – “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 – God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John chapter 4 verses 23 to 24)
God will first of all take anyone who desires a fresh breath of God to the manufacturing room
The breath of God glory is not just God but for His children as well. But the truth is God is not like the earthly fathers who can compromise to give their children things that destroy because they want to satisfy their children’s selfish hearts desires. Every of God children who desire God must meet up the standard by paying the price. God is a lovely, kind and merciful Father but He is also a God of principles.
Let us look at the conditions that triggered God’s promise to Joel chapter 2,
12 – Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 – And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
14 – Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
15 – Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
16 – Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
17 – Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?” (Joel chapter 2 verses 12 to 17)
This what some man of God have failed to tell their congregations and that is why some of them get frustrated in the way, instead of being vessels for God use, they are vessels in the hand of devil causing all manners of havoc in the house of God. What do we expect when people are not fed with balanced diet. Spiritual kwashiokor is inevitable when people want to maneuver things for the glory of God.
Conclusion
God will breath on any vessel that meets the standard. In Joel chapter 2 verses 29 God says,
“And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.”
God says He will reveal His glory to anyone who sincerely undergoes the sanctification process. God seeks for vessels with sincere humility and hunger for God’s glory.
