Make your leadership count

It is wise to know that it is in your power to make your leadership count. You are a born leader and start seeing yourself as one. You were not created to be marking time on earth. There was a vacuum in the place of leadership that prompted your existence. There is a place of leadership for you. You alone can assume that position and perform greatly there. You are one of the greatest leaders the world will ever encounter if you can the chances to believe and accept you’re made a leader.

[26] “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28)

There was a vacuum in the place of leadership that prompted your existence

We need to cite this very scripture to open us up to who we truly are and what we are created to do and the legacy we are meant to lay. God actually created us as potential leaders. Yes, God means whatever He says and says whatever He means. After creation, God knew that there is need for a leader who will pick up the affairs to keep everything under control. Creation needs a direction on how things should be.

When God chose to bring man into scene it is on the account to exercise leadership over th earth and everything that is there in. It is God Almighty that created the earth and He chose man to enforce leadership on earth.

“The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm chapter 24 verses 1)

God knew that there is need for a leader who will pick up the affairs to keep everything under control

You see, on this course of taking up that leadership and making it count, God knew you more than you know yourself. God knows that you have what it takes to exercise effective leadership. You have to stop looking down on yourself and start accepting who God has made you to be.

The first factor in making your leadership count is you accepting who you are. You must accept who you are. It might be obvious that your birth and the processes of raising you was a terrible one, but you still need to understand that despite all you didn’t die in those horrible processes. Because you have a part in the leadership of the world to make the earth a beautiful place that is why you survived all those processes. Yes, people may be saying nobody knew you will make it to this point in time but here you are.

The first factor in making your leadership count is you accepting who you are.

Yes, it might be that the circumstances surrounding your birth left a deformation on you, yet for the fact you made it this far is a proof you are in for something great and amazing. The first key to success in leadership is accepting and loving who you are. If you don’t accept and love who you are, you will find it difficult to love people who will want to look up to you. Once you don’t love those you are leading, you will find it difficult to exercise effective leadership.

There is need to cherish who you are for that is the key for effective leadership. Nothing in the phase of leadership will make any tremendous impact as when one love and cherish who he is. You can’t love the people more than you love yourself. You can’t cherish the people more than you cherish yourself. You can only love and cherish the people based on the amount you love yourself.

Conclusion

If you must make your leadership count, you must wholeheartedly  accept who you are. It is on this note you will accept others and also help them accept who they are. Leadership began with oneself. Leadership must affect you before affecting others.
