Time that matters most in one’s life
- Time in discovering, accepting and loving who you are.
The beginning of individual’s progress and success is in discovering who he or she is, accepting who he or she is, and loving who he or she is. Once you developed the courage to accept and love who you are, you will as well believe in your ability. That is the path to greatness. Time invested in doing all these is never unnecessary.
“I will praise thee; for I am fearful and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” (Psalms chapter 139 verses 14.)
- Time spent in the secret place.
To conformed into the image of Christ is derived in the secret place. Life is controlled from the secret place. It is the spiritual that governs the physical. The ultimate strength to accomplish one’s purpose is derived in the secret place.
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalms 91:1.)
- Time in the place of study.
Time invested in growing and improving oneself is never in vain. Readers are leaders. You can take or lead people more than the knowledge you have. Where you aimed to be and who you desire to become like, there are books written about it and if only you can get hold of such material, it will avail you much.
“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2Timothy2:15)
You can’t accomplish anything more than the knowledge you have and you will get more accomplished when you improve on your knowledge.

It is vital to take some quality time thinking on this very project you want to embark on. Meditation on this very project will help you discover the right way things can be done better. Meditation is very important because it enables someone to know how he or she will overcome obstacles that may arise in the process.

- Time spent with your circle of counsel.
Time spent with the right company is invested. The company of the wise will become wiser. But the company of fools shall be destroy. It is iron that sharpens iron. You will become right and develop the right mental attitude when you learn to associate with the right people. That is why the association of the eagles will learn how to soar like the eagles. But the association of wolves will learn how to bark.
“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” (1Corinthians chapter 15 verses 33)
Good communication makes you better and elevates but bad communication corrupt and demotes.
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9.)
You need the advise of someone to keep you safe from mistake.
- Time in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrace, whasoever I have said unto you.” (John chapter 14 verses 26.)
We need the help of the Holy Spirit for us to accomplish our responsibilities and to keep a memorial event at last. If we must live as fulfilled and happy people, we must constantly acknowledge the place of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
