Overcoming doubt
“People will always say you can’t until they see you can.”
“People have the tendency to doubt your potentials and ability, you have the tendency to either make that a stumbling block or a stepping stone.”
It is good to know and wise to understand that your responsibility may attract doubt. The question is, doubt from where? Doubt from who? It will interest you to know that it will come from those closest to you. Your immediate family members may doubt your potentials. Some will say, there is no way you can fulfill that dream in your heart. You can’t venture into such money demanding business and succeed in it.
You don’t have all it takes to make it in that field of career and profession. You can’t become the best you ever dreamt off in that skill. People better than you have tried it and couldn’t make it. There is no way you can see through. It will be a waste of time, treasure and energy going about that. People will always say you can’t until they see you can. If people never doubted your potentials, that means you are not doing any thing significant.

It is always wise to remember people will always undermine your effort until they see what you are able to accomplish. People have every right to say you can’t but you have every right to prove to them that you can. When people say you can’t, it is in your power to prove them wrong. It is never the time to give up on what you believe in; not even your goals, dreams, visions and responsibility. To get to always say, “I Can.” That is the motto of every person who wants to make any significant impart to this generation.
It doesn’t matter the situation surrounding you at the moment; it doesn’t matter what the economic of the nation is saying; it doesn’t matter what people are saying; it doesn’t matter who believes in you or not. What matters is, did you believe yourself? Did you believe you can? If you do, then you can. Paul said,
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians chapter 4 verses 13.)
When people say you can’t, it is in your power to prove them wrong.
You can accomplish whatever your heart has long to do. You have to grow to the point to believe, anything you are unable to accomplish is something nobody can accomplish. Whatever people think about you will never make an impart except you concur to it. What you think about your responsibility and its fulfillment is what matters most.
People have the tendency to doubt your potentials and ability, you have the tendency to either make that a stumbling block or a stepping stone. You see that it is your choice that will stand. You have all to accomplish your responsibility. Let people not talk you down. Instead turn them down.
You can accomplish whatever your heart has long to do.
I remember when I started my writing career back then as a student and I was living with my immediate elder brother, both of us were students of the same campus. When I disclosed to him what I was about to venture into, he nodded his head. He is the kind who finds it stressful to utter words. But I saw a manifested doubt which he demonstrated, “My friend go and sit down. If you have anything important to talk about, you better go ahead and stop itching my ear with this your writing of a thing. You and I know you can’t do what you are saying.” I was so excited talking to him about writing a book, but he never believed in me. The fact remains I have made up my heart to go ahead with my writing.
Any time he sees me writing, he will make one terrific statement. “Guy, are you still wasting paper?” I will ignour him and continue with what I was doing. Little does he know I have an information for the younger generation and I have made my mind never to park. You see, everybody has the right to doubt you, your potentials and ability, but you have the ultimate right to prove them wrong.
Conclusion
It is good to always remember people will always doubt your ability to fulfill your responsibility. Some times don’t waste your time and energy trying to convince them. People will always say you can’t until they see you can.
