How to defeat or overcome the opposition or devil

  1. Overcome fear to start.

Yes the devil has made so many lack the zeal to start. They always think and nurture the thoughts that they will fail. The thoughts of defeat always saturate their mind whenever they want to venture on anything meaningful. If only you can be bold to start it will amaze you what significant things you can accomplish. Even if you start something new and fail, that is a great experience on your end.

“… but the righteous are bold as a lion.” (Proverbs chapter 28 verses 1)

You should be eager to do something new and believe you will ever succeed no matter the circumstances surrounding you at the moment. Everyone who has achieved something significant has always had the thought from the devil that he or she will never end up victorious. But their persistence and belief in what they were able to start made them never give up and were focused to the desired result.

  1. Failure does not make you a failure.

Because we have not arrived in that land called perfection, we are bound to encounter failure. Encountering failure is part of the journey of life. Encountering failure never made anyone a failure. Failure will really become a failure in the life of a person when he or she accepts it and quit trying. Let any failure you encounter on the process to achieve something significant be a stepping stone to remain on course and keep trying.

To some persons it is never their past failures that is their greatest challenge, to some persons it is their greatest success that is there greatest challenge. They are so cage in the circle of their past success that they are so satisfied never to venture into something new. There is a clear understanding when someone has encountered failure on a several occasion and he or she has made up his or her mind whenever going for something great, he or she will not succeed. Past failures have actually crippled the mental faculty of some persons that they can’t think right to start something new and keep pressing till the end.

Paul said in the book of Philippians  chapter 3 verses 12 to 14,

“12 – Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13 – Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14 – I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

May your achievement never become your opposition and the reason you become too comfortable not to venture into something new and great.
