God’s gift to man kind
The greatest gift of God Almighty to man kind is that we are created in His image and after His likeness that we can take His place here on earth to exercise full dominion. Dr David Ogbueli says, “When God gave us Jesus He gave us everything, when God gave us the HolySpirit He gave us Himself.” What is man that God Almighty would duplicate Himself in man? What an awesome gift and priviledge to have the same characters God.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 27)
There is nothing as awesome as being made in the character of God Almighty so as to exercise our functionality as He should. What a priviledge! What an honour! No one can figure it but that is what it is. It is awesome.
What an awesome gift and priviledge to have the same characters God.
“Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD’S your God, the Earth also, with all that therein is.” (Deuteronomy chapter 10 verse 14 KJV)
God did not just created man. He created man with a great offer before man. An offer of a kingdom of earth that carries the full reflection of heaven. Earth was a gift given to man. It was not just a gift, but an inheritance. What else can I use to qualify that? It was a gift to mankind that will never be exhausted. A gift that man will keep enjoying from generation to generation, yet he cannot be boring about the state of living. A gift for man to explore and therein he will find full fulfillment and satisfaction.
It is the gift of God that makes rich without any trace of sorrow. The first ever gift God ever gave man was a kingdom full of God’s glory and man was placed fully in charged. Man was not yet to come into place before the creation process, man was already fully in existence in the mind of God almighty before creation began.
God created man with a great offer before man
“According as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be Holy and without blame before Him in love.” (Ephesian chapter 1 verse 4 KJV)
Man was created and fashioned in God’s holiness and righteous. For man to keep operating in the functionality of God, there is need to maintain a standard of holiness which is review by having a right standing with God. God choose us to Himself, so that we should fully aligned so as to be blameless in any capacity, and be able to effectively exercise authority over the earth. I believe is good to hear this, the whole earth was a holy land when it was handed over to man. God chosen man to be holy and blameless can never place on in an unholy earth. Not until man disobey by rebelling against God.
God was actually thinking of what He will give man to make him not just to be glad but to see himself as a god and fully in charged. That was when He thought about providing a kingdom for man kind. God is perfect God. He is the all knowing God. Nothing would have satisfied man rather than providing a kingdom where he can exercise authority as God does.
Man was created and fashioned in God’s holiness and righteous
12 I have made the Earth, and created man upon it: I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commended.
18 For thus says the LORD Who created the heavens; God Himself Who formed the Earth and made it; He has established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. (Isaiah chapter 45 verse 12,18 KJV)
Man did not contribute an inch in the creating, making and establishing of the earth. He was fully in God’s mind when creation was going on, and God looked at each creation and He said, “It is good.” He was saying, this is good for man and I know he will appreciate this. Of course why wouldn’t man appreciate it after God released the best to established the best kingdom ever for man kind where the glory of God was made manifest.
Conclusion
You have to accept who you are irrespective of what is surrounding you at the moment. You are God’s gift to this generation and God’s glory in you should be seen.
