No responsibility, no life
What is the true meaning of life and what is the joy of living when there is no responsibility? What is the driving force that pushes you all through the day going about doing what you are doing hoping to see a desire result? What is the settlement in your heart as you go to bed at the end of the day and the smile of hope to witness another breaking of the day? What is that pumping force that saturates your heart as you lie down on the bed with so much enthusiastic to jump up from the bed going about the responsibility of the day? There is no controversy about one’s irresponsible when he has no responsibility.
You can only find the true meaning and the joy of living if their is anything significant you are living for. If embracing responsibility has not make meaning to you, the true joy of living will be far from you. As you retire at each day and you don’t have this desire burning in your heart that you cannot wait to witness another breaking of the day, there is something you need to get right about your personality. The truth about the journey of life is that, whatever desire you may have to become better calls for responsibility.
“And He said to them, How is it that you had to look for Me? Did you not see and know that it is necessary [as a duty] for Me to be in My Father ‘s house and [occupied] about My Father ‘s business? (AMP) ( Luke chapter 2 verse 49 AMP)
Whatever desire you may have to become better calls for responsibility
Jesus on His account to fulfilling purpose made it clear there is a course He was living for, that very course was His breath. Of course Jesus cannot live without going about this very course. The call to fulfill purpose is a call to embracing responsibility, the call to embracing responsibility is the call to live life, the call to live life is the call to be fulfilled.
“Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work.” (John chapter 4 verses 34 AMP)
Your responsibility should be as your daily meal. There should be this daily passion burning in your heart about accomplishing your responsibility. It is in accomplishing your responsibility that the true meaning of life and living is found. There are people who does not cherish physical food as much as they cherish to see their responsibility accomplished. The only time they can sit and fully enjoy their physical meal it is when they have fully handled their responsibilities.
There is no controversy about one’s irresponsible when he has no responsibility.
There is a story of a young servant whose master gave an opportunity to have a taste of what it means to live. He was given a talent according to his ability, yet he lived to abused such awesome opportunity. He never understood that the true meaning of life is found in the place of responsibility. He hated the fact that he was given such an opportunity. when others appreciate the opportunity given to them which prompted them to worked hard to proved their effectiveness and efficient, this very servant did nothing.
14 – For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 – And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
19 – After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 – And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 – His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 – He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 – His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 – Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 – And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 – His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: (Mathew chapter 25 verses 14-26)
You can see it is wickedness when you are not a person of responsibility. Many desired such opportunity but it was granted unto you. When you are not a person of responsibility, it shows your level of ingratitude to God Almighty. You cannot to live to abuse the awesome opportunity given to you.
Conclusion
It is wise to always remember we are created by purpose to accomplish a specific responsibility. Every breaking of the day is the greatest opportunity for one to have a reason to live and to add meaning to life by accomplishing one’s responsibility. Life wouldn’t have found its true meaning without responsibility. No responsibility, no meaning to life. No responsibility, no reason to live.
