YOU NEED TO THINK BETTER BEFORE TRAVELLING

You need to think better before travelling.

Travelling is part of life and living. Life is not about leaving one master to another master with the thought that the new master will just take you in as his or her own biological son or daughter. Once you leave the master of your origin to submit yourself to another master, you are a slave. I think that is the right word for it. You should know that no matter how tough things may be, home is home; home is still the best and there is no place like home. Even if your present master is not doing great, you have to know the place of patience. This is one of the characters we get to stir up in us as diaspora.  Of course such characters are made realistic through the help of the Holy Spirit.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.” (Galatians chapter five verses twenty two NIV)

“But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments. (Galatians chapter five verses twenty two MSB)

That move can be your pit fall

It is obvious that you might be leaving your nation in a time like this, but you also have to realise that you are going to submit yourself to another master. You can never stand on your own without anyone giving you order. It is unwise to think that you will have your own station where you will be the one dishing out order. Never will that be possible.  We have to learn never to be in a hurry to make delicate decisions. That move can be your pit fall.

You must be sure you are fully convinced about that trip before you embark on it, so to avoid regret at the end of the tunnel. As diaspora we should know that God deemed it wise and beautiful to make us who we are at the moment and place us in our present nation. Never be in hurry to move when God has not made a move. Never you be in a hurry to change master when God is still working things out to mature some characters in you through your present master.

You see, patience is one of the best keys to acquire if we must unlock the doors of great fortunes.  It will only take time but it will surely come to past. Life is not about our timing, life is about God’s timing. We will spend some time to discuss in detail in subsequent episode. You might want it now. Yes, especially the younger generations are in an alarming craving to acquire wealth without developing the right characters to sustain those wealth. What a misnomer that patience is a scarce commodity in the diary of the younger generation.

Do not throw away the future

Every one of them wants to make it financially without regarding the means at which it is acquire. They are so mindful about now that they throw away their tomorrow. They are so keen about the present that they lost their future.

Remember, the master that you dwell under without God by your side can actually mess up things your ways. That is why many who travelled without the thought of God for their life are stock some place that most of them are ashamed to return.

What did you think will happen when we live God’s way? God is the first diaspora that ever lived and He knows our end from the beginning.  If only we can patience enough to wait for His leading at any point in time, we will live a successful and fulfilled life. It is with God that everything is possible, it is never with man.

Conclusion

The most dangerous trip in life is for one to be ahead of his or her Maker. How will such trip meet a successful ending. Always make sure you have a genuine alignment with God.
