8 purpose of Jesus on earth
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John chapter 14 verses 6)
Jesus came for mission. He did not have to show up for showing sake without a course. He came to accomplished one specific responsibility and that is to reconcile man to God. No one has ever experienced the true way to until the coming of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. It was Christ finished work on the cross and His resurrection that made this possible.
9 – “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 – And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation chapter 5 verses 9 to 10)
WHAT THE LIFE OF JESUS DOES TO US
- Jesus life helps us to live anpurpose driven life on earth.
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1John chapter 3 verses 8)
- Jesus life shows us how to live for others.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts chapter 10 verses 38)
“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mathew chapter 20 verses 28)
- Jesus made us to understand that we are the solution of the earth.
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John chapter 8 verses 12)
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” (Mathew chapter 5 verses 14)
- Jesus taught us to a life of purpose is a sustained life.
A life of purpose is a life a sacrifice. The purpose of Jesus is a life a sacrifice.
“For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” (Mathew chapter 16 verses 25)
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” (Philippians chapter 2 verses 5)
- Jesus taught nobody accomplished God’s purpose on earth without having a close relationship.
“I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.” (John chapter 8 verses 38)
- Jesus life taught us life on earth is temporal.
2 – “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 – And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John chapter 14 verses 2 to 3)
- The life of Jesus made us to understand there is an enemy of destiny.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (1Peter chapter 5 verses 8)
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John chapter 10 verses 10)
- Jesus made us to understand there is a day of accountability.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (2Corinthians chapter 5 verses 10)
