The purpose of Jesus is to redeemed mankind and reconciled mankind to God. Every thing about Jesus life on earth is getting mankind back on track to fulfill purpose and destiny. All through the time man fell, man was walking out of purpose. Mankind was not living his or her true life. Everyone was going about like a sheep without a shepherd. There was a course on earth on how one could get oneself in the right path to fulfill purpose. But every efforts from mankind was no avail, until Jesus showed up to lead mankind into the path to discover God, embrace God and live a life of purpose.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John chapter 14 verses 6)
Jesus came on earth for mission. He did not have to show up for showing sake without a course. He came to accomplished one specific responsibility and that is to reconciled man to God. No one has ever experienced the true way of life until the coming of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. It was Christ finished work on the cross and His resurrection that made this possible.

WHAT THE LIFE OF JESUS DOES TO US

1. Jesus life helps us to live a purpose driven life on earth.

Jesus live a purpose driven life. From the very moment He discovered His purpose, He lived for it all through. He knew what He came to do and accomplished on earth. His mission was cleared and He lived every moment walking through the path to fulfill such course. That is the course to reconciled man to God. He went all the way to lay down His life and bear the sin of the whole humanity upon Himself. He suffered all things just for the redemption of mankind and to bring man back to his original position of authority and thereby exercising dominion.
“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” (1John chapter 3 verses 8)

2. Jesus life shows us how to live for others.

Jesus lived to show mankind that the best legacy to render is the legacy of being good to one another. All through His journey He went about doing good. He healed the sicks, opened the eyes of the blind, casting out demons, set the captive free and even raised the death. Jesus gave hope to humanity and He is still the hope of mankind. We are made to live one’s life the way Jesus lived. We must live to give people a reason to live.
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts chapter 10 verses 38)
“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mathew chapter 20 verses 28)

3. Jesus made us to understand that we are the solution of the earth.

Jesus lived to solve the greatest challenge of the human race which man cannot helped himself. Man was harbouring in obscurity that was caused by his disobedience which blindfolded his eyes. But when Jesus showed up, He proved He was the light of the earth and His presence on earth were able to open the eyes of man to see. Jesus did not only showed He is the light of the earth, He also raised man to continue in the light He has brought and this day man is the light of the earth.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” (Mathew chapter 5 verses 14)

4. Jesus taught us a life of purpose is a sustained life.

A life of purpose is a life a sacrifice. Jesus lived a sacrificial life for Him to accomplished His purpose on earth. Purpose fulfilment calls for sacrificial living. The life that Jesus lived on earth costed Him every thing. If our lives must count on earth, it will cost us every thing. There are things one should not engage him or herself into for the course he or she has to fulfill.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:” (Philippians chapter 2 verses 5)

5. Jesus taught nobody accomplished God’s purpose on earth without having a close relationship.

It was obvious that one’s relationship with God is paramount if one’s life must be effective. One has to be fully connected to the source. Nothing exists on its own accord. Every thing has its source. God is the true source of man. Nothing in life can make much impact without fully connected to the source. That simply means that man cannot do much without observing a proper alignment with God. The virtue to accomplish purpose flows from God to mankind.
“I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.” (John chapter 8 verses 38)

6. Jesus life taught us life on earth is temporal.

We are on a mission and it is a life time. Our life on earth is on timing. Nobody lives here forever. Just like there was a time of arrival for everyone here on earth, there is a time of departure awaits everyone. We have nothing but a short time here that one will strive for his or her life to count. It is very necessary for one to live with the consciousness of discovering one’s purpose and lives to fulfill it. What one was able to accomplished in the space of time will talk more about his or her personality.
2 – “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 – And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John chapter 14 verses 2 to 3)

7. The life of Jesus made us to understand there is an enemy of destiny.

The way God created earth from the very beginning, earth was designed to be like heaven. It was the enemy that deceived man which led to the pollution of the earth. The same enemy has not retired. He is still in the mission to stop many from fulfilling destiny. Any time one’s fulfill his or her destiny it added so much light on earth. Enemy dislike light. The enemy drives in darkness. The enemy will always want to stop one from discovering his or her true purpose. Even to them who have discovered their purpose, the enemy is fighting to stop them from fulfilling their purpose. Purpose fulfilment is a threat to the enemy.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” (1Peter chapter 5 verses 8)
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John chapter 10 verses 10)

8. Jesus made us to understand there is a day of accountability.

There is no controversy about the journey of mankind on earth about his arrival and his departure. It is obvious that no one ever bargained the date and time of his arrival, so will no one knows the date and time of his departure. The only people who have the clue about their departure out of earth, are men who have closed walk with God. We will all depart some day to appear before the Lord God to give an account on how we went about things here on earth. Before one’s departure, he or she can actually assess oneself to know if he or she has good account to present before the Lord God.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” (2Corinthians chapter 5 verses 10)
