7 benefits of obedience
- It guarantees prosperity:
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua chapter 1 verses 8)
- You acquire wisdom:
8 – “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 – For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah chapter 55 verses 8 to 9)
In obeying God’s Word you became wiser.
- It builds up one’s faith life:
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans chapter 10 verses 17)
Faith to do the impossible. No one can see the full power of God until he or she starts obeying Him.
- Longevity:
20 – “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 – Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 – For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs chapter 4 verses 20 to 22)
It expand one’s life.
- Open one to more of God’s glory and anointing:
“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” (John chapter 14 verses 21)
- It puts one in an unusual position of authority:
“And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” (2Corinthians chapter 10 verses 6)
- It produces maximum productivity and harvest:
4 – “Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 – And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
6 – And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” (Luke chapter 5 verses 4 to 6)
- Eternity is guaranteed:
“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Mathew chapter 24 verses 13)
