6 area of consecration
- Consecration as it has to do with God.
1 – Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 – And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 – And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4 – So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.” (Genesis chapter 12 verses 1 to 4)
Jesus sacrifice His life for us that we will sacrifice our lives to Him.
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians chapter 1 verses 21)
- Consecration of the soul and mi d to God.
5 – “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 – Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 – But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 – And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 – Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 – That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 – And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians chapter 2 verses 5 to 11)
- Consecration of one’s money to God.
“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” (Deuteronomy chapter 8 verses 18)
- Consecration of one’s body to God.
1 – “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. — null
2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Roman chapter 12 verses 1 to 2)
- Consecration as a minister to God.
11 – And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 – For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” (Ephesians chapter 4 verses 11 to 12)
- Consecration of one’s family to God.
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua chapter 24 verses 15)
