5 reasons to value people
- Know that we are created in the image and after the likeness of God:
[27] “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 27 to 28 KJV)
- Know that we are one body in Christ:
[12] “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
[13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
[14] For the body is not one member, but many.
[15] If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
[16] And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
[17] If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
[18] But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
[19] And if they were all one member, where were the body?
[20] But now are they many members, yet but one body.” (1Corinthians chapter 12 verses 12 to 20 KJV)
- Know that we need each other to succeed:
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” (Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verses 9 KJV)
- Know that standing alone is disaster:
[10] “For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
[11] Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
[12] And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verses 10 to 12 KJV)
- Know that we will always agree for greater output:
“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos chapter 3 verses 3 KJV)
