4 ways a believer shall live by faith
- The just shall pray by faith:
1 – “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
2 – Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
3 – And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
4 – And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5 – Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
6 – And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
7 – And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 – I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke chapter 18 verses 1 to 8)
Our prayers are answered because we pray in the name of Jesus. Worry,fear and anxiety are enemies of of faith.
“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark chapter 11 verses 24)
- The just shall speak by faith:
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” (Mark chapter 11 verses 23)
Your words will either make you or mar you. It will lift you up or pull you down.
“Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.” (Luke chapter 10 verses 13)
Whenever one speak the Word of God, he or she envoke God into the scene.
- The just shall give by faith:
“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” (Luke chapter 6 verses 38)
Anyone who does not know how to give will not prosper financially. If you want to know God value for your life, look at the cross. God demonstrated His given by faith.
41 – “And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
42 – And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
43 – And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
44 – For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.” (Mark chapter 12 verses 41 to 44)
She did her given by faith, while others gave from their abundance.
“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Mathew chapter 6 verses 21)
Your giving determines what heaven will release over you. The greatest thing you need in life is not cash but the blessing of God.
- The just shall serve by faith:
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” (1Corianthians chapter 15 verses 58)
You must render your service in faith without looking at anyone. Whenever service you render in the kingdom goes with a reward.
