4 steps to fulfilling purpose
- Cultivate an attitude to listen: Many does not know it that it takes teachability to cultivate an attitude to listen.
“My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:” (Proverbs chapter 1 verses 8)
“Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.” (Proverbs chapter 8 verses 1)
- Cultivate an attitude of learning: It takes teachability for one to humble him or herself to learn and grow. If there is no learning, there will be no growth.
“A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:” (Proverbs chapter 1 verses 5)
“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.” (Proverbs chapter 9 verses 9)
- Cultivate an attitude of learning plan: It is essential to develop a learning plan that will enable you to learn in every situation. Let every thing that happen around be for a reason for you to acquire knowledge. Of course you have to be ready to attend seminars, teachings and events that will always renew your mind, visit places that will inspire you, and spend time with those who will stir up the best in you and expose you to new experience towards accomplishing your responsibility.
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” (Habakkuk chapter 2 verses 2)
- Cultivate an attitude of making your learning plan count: Any learning processes you are observing will enable you contribute your own quarter in the beauty of our world by fulfilling your responsibility. Your learning plan count when you fully embark on your responsibility with all you have gotten.
“Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.” (Proverbs chapter 21 verses 5 NLT)
