4 Godly values
- Place more value on spiritual things than material things.
11 – “For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
12 – That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.” (Romans chapter 1 verses 11 to 12)
- Place more value on wisdom than money.
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” (Proverbs chapter 4 verses 7)
Get wisdom and it will put money in your hand.
- Place more value on human capital than on money. Have a value for life.
3 – “And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
4 – And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5 – And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. –
6 – And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” (Genesis chapter 11 verses 3 to 6)
- Learn to spend time with God.
28 – Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 – He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 – Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 – But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah chapter 40 verses 28 to 31)
Conclusion:
3 – That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. — null
4 – And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 – This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” (1 John 1 verses 3 to 5)
Once you start friendship with God, you also have friendship with the son and Holy Spirit.
