4 dimension of love
- Love for God:
“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.” (Mark chapter 12 verses 30)
- Love for brethren:
20 – And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.
21 – And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.” (Luke chapter 8 verses 20 to 21)
“Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.” (Hebrew chapter 10 verses 25 AMP)
- Love for neighbour:
31 – “And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
33 – And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.” (Mark chapter 12 verses 31, 33)
- Love your enemies:
43 – “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 – But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 – That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” (Mathew chapter 5 verses 43 to 45)
