3 views God’s passion brought you into the scene
- God was passionate about your existence.
“Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.” ( Ephesians chapter 1 verses 4 NLT)
Before the beginning of beginning, God was so passionate to bring you into the scene. God stepping out for creation already had you in mind. God was so eager to bring you into the tournament for the great and mighty things He will rock on the earth through you. God was so passionate to have a walk with you. Yes, God longs for that relationship with you. God was so passionate and that is why He created us in His pleasure.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” (Revelation chapter 4 verses 11)
In God’s pleasure He brought you and I forth. In His image He made you and I to be as He is and function like Him. Oh yes, there is everything awesome about God and you.
“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” (Psalms chapter 8 verses 4 KJV)
- You are a complete product of God’s passion.
“Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” (Jeremiah chapter 1 verses 5 KJV)
God knew us before we were formed in the belly. That should tell you how precious we are to God Almighty that in the spirit realms we were with Him having cordial communication. We were with Him in the heavenly places, and when it pleases God and the time for us to appear in the scene, He prepared our journey.
God knowing us while we were still in the womb simply means He was watching over us step by step. From one month to another till the day we were fully incubated in the womb and ready to show up on earth. During the process of labour, God was still watching and caring over us that we arrived safely. How precious are we in God’s eye? I can’t really imagine that. The book of 1 Peter chapter 2 verses 9 made it clear on how precious we are in God’s eyes,
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”
Because we are a complete product of God, we are meant to dwell in the marvellous light of God, because that is where we are meant to constantly dwell for we are fashioned in God’s image and likeness.
- God so delighted in you to show forth His glory through you.
4 – And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 – Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
6 – O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.” (Jeremiah chapter 18 verses 4 to 6)
The vessel that God will use will not be made out of sentiment. It must be perfect for the Master’s use. God will first of all work in you before He works through you. The vessel that will carry God’s glory must meet the standard. God will break off things that needed to be broken off your life for what God wants to do through you.
14 – Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 – Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Mathew chapter 5 verses 14 to 16)
Conclusion
There is need for your light to shine. For you to shine you must be living up to expectations. For you to live up to expectations, you must undergo the purging by the Lord God Almighty.
