3 major things for eternal destiny
- You need to receive redemption:
9 – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 – For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans chapter 10 verses 9 to 10)
You need to receive redemption by the Blood and maintain your sanctification through separation from sin, the world, and the devil. It was Jesus responsibility to redeemed humanity from the bondage of satan and its captivity. It is our responsibility to keep projecting the light of the saving gospel all over the places. The daily goal of christianity is one more soul for Jesus.
1 – “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 – Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 – And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” (1John chapter 3 verses 1 to 3)
- Identify your Calling and God-given assignments in life and prepare yourself for them.
6 – “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 – Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 – Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.” (Romans chapter 12 verses 6 to 8)
There is need to understand that we all have a call from God Almighty. We need to make that calling of great relevance and profit for the kingdom. God so most trusted us in the first place to give us such an awesome priviledge to be part of the team to propergate the saving gospel.
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” (Proverbs chapter 4 verses 7)
- Use your Gifts, Talents, Skills, Resources, Platforms, and Time to pursue the Great Commission.
It is time to deploy all that is within you for the work of the ministry. The talents, skills and resources God has given you is for the work of the ministry to the advancement of the kingdom. There are people who you are their responsibility. You never can tell what people has been subjected to for the reason you fail to embrace your ministry fully. You have a ministry and it is your responsibility to make any bit count.
18 – “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 – Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 – Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Mathew chapter 28 verses 18 to 20)
Get involved in discipling the nations and the people groups that God has sent you to. You are served to serve others. We cannot continue to live as though we are doing God a favour whereas it is in God’s mercy that we are counted among the living. We are expected to live our lives for the One that gave Himself and died for our total redemption.
You have to be part of the great commission winning the lost for Christ. If you do these things consistently, you will not only secure your Eternal Destiny but also your Destiny in this life.
Conclusion:
“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” (Psalms chapter 90 verses 12)
Like the Psalmist prayed so we ought to make the same prayer to that God should teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto Wisdom. That we will be so mindful to put our heart to learning and let God help us to learn to always mind in the beginning the things that would matter in the end and in Eternity.
