10 UNDERSTANDING ABOUT BUILDING ONE’S FAITH

10 understanding about building one’s faith

1. You have to understand that you are born a faith being:

26 – “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26 to 28)

2. You have to understand that you have the breath of faith in you:

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis chapter 2 verses 7)

3. You have to understand that you have to connect to your source:

4 – “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 – I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John chapter 15 verses 4 to 5)

4. You have to understand that you have to abide in the word:

7 – “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

8 – Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” (John chapter 15 verses 7 to 8)

5. You have to understand that you have to have a prayer life:

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah chapter 40 verses 31)

6. You have to understand that you need to have a study life:

3 – “And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

4 – And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” (Luke chapter 4 verses 3 to 4)

7. You have to understand that you have to be diligent in service.

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (1Corianthians chapter 15 verses 10)

8. You have to understand that you have to speak the right word:

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Hebrews chapter 11 verses  3)

9. You have to understand that you have to be praying in tongues:

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” (Jude chapter 1 verses 20)

10. You must constantly understand that you are born of God:

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1John chapter 5 verses 4)

Conclusion:

1 – “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 – For by it the elders obtained a good report.” (Hebrews chapter 11 verses 1 to 2)

For anyone who desires to obtain good results must operate by faith. Any operation out of faith does not attract good results. Faith is the key to unlock the door of the impossible into possible.
