10 reasons why you must obey
- You did not create yourself :
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26)
- You are created for a purpose:
27 – “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 27 to 28)
- You are made to carry out a specific responsibility:
35 – “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 – As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 – Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 – For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 – Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans chapter 8 verses 35 to 39)
- You did not choose yourself
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” (John chapter 15 verses 16) .
- You need someone to become
“And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Mathew chapter 4 verses 19)
- You must follow someone
“Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” (1Corianthians chapter 11 verses 1)
- You must be trained
1 – Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2 – But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.” (Galatians chapter 4 verses 1 to 2)
- You are here to fulfill and finished a course
“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” (John chapter 4 verses 34)
- You are born and called a leader for people’s destiny are attached to you.
15 – “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 – He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 – He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.” (John chapter 21 verses 15 to 17)
- You must finish strong:
6 – “For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 – Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” (2Timothy chapter 4 verses 6 to 8)
