10 KEYS TO BECOME A COURAGEOUS LEADER

10 keys to become a courageous leader

1. You have to understand that you are chosen to be a leader:

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” (Ephesians chapter 1 verses 4)

2. You have to understand that you are made to be a leader

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 26)

3. You have to understand that you are blessed as a leader

27 – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 – And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis chapter 1 verses 27 to 28)

4. You have to understand that you have the breath of the true leader running in you.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis chapter 2 verses 7)

5. You have to understand that your leadership need to have proper alignment with God

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” (John chapter 15 verses 4)

6. You have to understand that your leadership should yield to God’s principles at all time

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John chapter 15 verses 5)

7. You have to understand that you must be a studious leader

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2Timothy chapter 2 verses 15)

8. You have to understand that you must be a leader with a prayer life

“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” (Luke chapter 18 verses 1)

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah chapter 40 verses 31)

9. You have to understand that your leadership demands you be strong

“Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.” (Joshua chapter 1 verses 6)

10. You have to understand that your leadership demands you have deep meditation on God’s word

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua chapter 1 verses 8)

Conclusion

You are born a courageous leader. You have to live to be courageous. Many are looking up to you. Your leadership matters alot in a time like this and you cannot afford to be discouraged at any point in time.
